Mary “Lucille” Cox was born on May 1, 1925 at Nagle, Mo., to Charles Walter and Ella Elaine (Masters) Sherrill. Lucille passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at her home in Willow Springs, Mo. Lucille was 91 years old.
Lucille was united in marriage to Harold Willis “Daig” Cox on May 15, 1943 in Willow Springs by the Reverend A.B. Schowengerdt. To this union, three daughters were born, one dying shortly after birth.
Lucille is survived by her two daughters, Sue Lynn Ellis and Lou Ann Collins and her husband Dale; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation services will be held Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Yarber Mortuary Chapel in Willow Springs.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, May 27, 2016 at the First Christian Church in Willow Springs, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Willow Springs.
