Warren Leroy O’Lena, died peacefully at his home on April 4, 2016 in West Plains, Mo. at the age of 87.
Warren is survived by his son David Lewandowski; his daughters Jill Linder, Jacqueline Lira, Cynthia Senko, Sandy Thomasson, Cheryl Hibler, and Michelle Kuse; his grandchildren Kristoffer Lewandowski, Lisa LeBlanc, Mark Lira, Heather Laatz, Alec Senko, Tess Miley, Michael Hibler, Jason Kuse, Heather Kuse, Jonathon Kuse, and Joshua Kuse; and his sisters, Doreen Sassone and Janet Schroeder.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Betty Jo.
Warren proudly served his country in the United States Army and was awarded both the Victory Medal and the Army of Occupation Medal while serving overseas in Germany.
The family would like to thank the caregivers and nursing staff of Three Rivers Hospice for their kindness, as well as a special thank you to Dr. Scott Roush for his compassionate care for both Warren and Betty Jo O’Lena.
