Funeral services for Lawrence David “Larry” Davis II, 51, Dora, Mo., will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Davis died at 9:47 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015, at his home. He was born Sept. 18, 1963, at Gainesville, Mo., to Lawrence David Davis and Karen Kathleen Pitcock Davis.
On Nov. 17, 1993, he was married at Elijah, Mo., to Christy Mitchell.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Larry was saved at a young age.
He is survived by his wife, Christy Davis; his parents, Lawrence and Karen Davis; grandmother, Linnie Pitcock Ingram; three children, Jonathan and Amanda Mitchell, Jessica Mitchell, and Ben and Carmen Mitchell; six grandchildren, Emily, Destiny, Brady, Payton, Tierra and Jenna; two sisters, Dana Davis Taylor, husband, Chet, and Lisa Keller, husband, Dan; one nephew, Keith Davis; and two nieces, Terra Miller and Cindy Hensley.
His grandparents precede him in death.
Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. today, Friday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Trail Cemetery.
