Louella Jane (Fowler) Stewart

Louella Jane (Fowler) Stewart, the daughter of the late Edwin Leo Fowler and the late Ethel Roseann Fowler was born April 14, 1943. She was the granddaughter to the late Walter Roberts and the late Viola Za Roberts.

She entered into eternal rest at peace with God with loved ones holding her hands on March 29, 2016 at the age of 72 years and 11 months.

She received her education at Thomasville school. On July 8, 1960, she married her high school sweetheart, Mr. Edward Eugene Stewart.

After their marriage they moved to Texas in December 1960. She gave birth to 5 children and kept the home. 

Louella held several jobs over the course of her working career. She could do everything from cutting the highway right of ways for the State of Texas to working as a chef alongside her mother. She was an excellent seamstress who made many dresses, etc for her loving children. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and loved giving her exquisite handmade creations. 

She was a proud member of the Alton Thayer Elks Lodge #2545 for 12 years and served as secretary for 10 years. She received many awards from state and local lodges.

Louella never met a stranger and would always know somebody wherever she went. Her smile and laughter as well as the love for us all will be greatly missed. She loved and adored her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, her brother at birth as well as many loved ones gone on. 

She is survived by her loving five children, daughters Linda Eugenia Cantrell and husband Howard of Duffield, VA, Patricia Ann Huddleston and husband Ronald of Rover, Mo., Paulene Brumbaugh and husband Isaac of Alton, Mo. Marlene Marie Doyle of Willow Springs, Mo., and son Edward Eugene Stewart Jr. address unknown. and her loving long time close companion of 13 years Marty Komm Jr. 

13 grandchildren,  Joshua Stewart Ray and Laura Ray Wadowick, Randle Huddleston, Travis Huddleston and Amber (Huddleston) Beecher, Erica Due, Jessica, Abby and Isaac Jr. Brumbaugh, Alex Stewart, Jennifer, Michelle and Chris Sewell. 14 great grandchildren with 4 more due soon as well as many cousins. 

As per her request, no funeral service was performed and her remains were cremated and put to rest next to her loving mother in the Jolliff Cemetary. We miss you mom, and we have the faith we will spend eternity with you in heaven.
