County recorder’s office announces new online service

Posted

Howell County Recorder of Deeds Jeff Brasier announces his office has enrolled in a new online notification service.

Those wanting to keep apprised of deed records as they are updated are invited to visit www.deedwatch.com. Select Howell County from the drop-down menu and enter the email address where records should be sent and follow the remaining instructions.

To receive updates for specific records, add the name of a business or person, and if a deed is recorded under the names added, an email will be sent to the address provided on registration.

To search for existing deed records, visit howellmo.icounty.com and register to create a new account. Once the new account is confirmed, a search may be conducted using a business or individual’s name to show relevant documents available for purchase through the website. Plats of individual buildings may also be searched by lot and block number and subdivision name to show all recorded documents associated with a property that are available for purchase.

For questions or more information, contact Brasier by phone at 417-256-3750 or email countyrecorder@yahoo.com.
