Edwards selected as Ozarka Employee of the Quarter
Ozarka College officials in Melbourne, Ark., announced Brioney Edwards of Melbourne, right, has been selected as Ozarka's Employee of the Quarter. Edwards is the lead faculty for the Culinary Arts Program.“We are extremely proud of the work Brioney is doing with our Culinary program,” said college President Dr. Dawe, left. “Since taking her lead role for the program, Brioney has had an exceptional year. Chef Brioney’s commitment to service and quality is apparent through the preparation of her students. Well-deserved recognition!” Edwards leads instruction for Ozarka College’s Culinary Arts program and her success is reflected in her students, said officials. Students in the program have gained experience showcasing their talents by catering events, obtained real-world practice in operating the Ozarka Culinary Café, and have been availed multiple internships and on-the-job training opportunities. Edwards began working at Ozarka in winter 2023 and holds an Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts from Ozarka. She has earned the Employee of the Quarter recognition for the period of January through March 2024.
