An Iowa man suffered fatal injuries in a motorcycle crash at 5:07 p.m. Saturday on Arkansas Highway 175 near Hardy in Sharp County, according to the Arkansas State Police.
Tpr. Peter Kootz with Troop B of the state police, Jonesboro, reported a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado pulling a trailer was turning left from the southbound lane of the highway into a private drive when an oncoming 1998 Suzuki VZ800 motorcycle driven by Samuel Break, 54, Iowa City, Iowa, struck the right side of the trailer. The motorcycle came to a final rest in the southbound lane, facing north, the trooper reported.
Breaks remains were turned over to Wortham Funeral Home in Highland, Ark.
The report does not say whether Break was wearing a helmet. No injuries were reported for the other driver, whose identity was not publicized in the report.
