The West Plains Senior Center will be closed April 8 for the total solar eclipse that will occur that day, announces Administrator Joy Pace.
SeniorAge Area Agency on Aging will not serve a hot meal at the center that day, no home meal delivery will be offered and no activities are planned. Pace said the board that governs the center may plan an event, but it will be separate from SeniorAge.
