On the day of screening, parents will need to bring each child's birth certificate, immunization record and proof of residency.

Preschool Info:

Glenwood’s preschool program is open to any child in the school district that turns 4 before Aug. 1. Preschool gives them an opportunity to become familiar with school routines, procedures and the school staff before kindergarten entry. Preschool also helps children begin to have exposure to academic concepts and prepares them for a successful kindergarten year. Glenwood School will continue to implement a full-day program during the 2019-2020 school year.  Call the school for more information.

Kindergarten Info:

To enter kindergarten students need to be 5 before Aug. 1.  Screening provides teachers an opportunity to meet their students that they will be having in class the following year and provides children with the opportunity to see the school they will be attending. Students who are currently attending preschool at Glenwood DO NOT need to come to screening.

Overall screening is an important part of helping the school identify students that will be attending Glenwood in the fall. School officials encourage parents to bring children to screening if there is even the slightest possibility of them joining the school in August.
