Southern Missouri Chiropractic

SOUTHERN MISSOURI CHIROPRACTIC has been named the West Plains Chamber of Commerce business of the week. From left: massage therapist Randy Hawkins, chiropractor Dr. Chase Johnson, massage therapist Gina Spivey and office manager Aubrey Johnson. A third massage therapist, Susie Eades, is currently deployed with the U.S. National Guard.

Dr. Chase Johnson said his chiropractic clinic is in the business of giving patients control over their successful treatment. Johnson is the chiropractor for Southern Missouri Chiropractic, 1105 Independence Drive in West Plains.

“We take a very patient-centered approach to treatment to help each patient reach his or her goals,” he said. “We pride ourselves on doing everything we can to get people out of pain in the quickest and safest way. We stand out by empowering each patient to be in control of their own success.”

The clinic, opened in March 2015, staffs a five-person team. Office manager Aubrey Johnson and massage therapists Susie Eades, Gina Spivey and Randy Hawkins all work together with Dr. Johnson to treat patients at the independent, private clinic. They are joined daily by Johnson’s dog, Ozzie.

“Ozzie gets to come to work everyday and loves people,” said Johnson. “We keep a friendly environment.”

Johnson is a West Plains native and attended Junction Hill and Glenwood schools before graduating in 2007 from West Plains High School. He attended Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, graduating in 2013, before returning to West Plains where he now lives with his wife Stephanie and son Carter.
