Beginning at 9 a.m. June 22 at the Cabool Church of the Brethren, 1003 Garst St. Cabool there will be a free workshop.

Everyone is invited to attend and participate in the workshop “Being the Body of Christ: Separate No More,” led by Jerry and Becky Crouse, members of a pastoral team at Warrenburg Church of the Brethren, where they will work on breaking down racism and barriers. It will be led in four sessions.

The first session, “Why are we here?” Includes a time for sharing stories.

The second session includes bible study and a discussion of why race and white privilege matters to white Christians.

After the first two sessions is a break for lunch.

Beginning at 1 p.m., session three will take place engaging in courageous conversations about race and white privilege.

Session four will be about strategies for continued educations, building relationships and advocating for change.
