$1,000 donation

Ozarks Medical Center (OMC) has donated $1,000 to the West Plains Education Foundation’s seventh annual Zizzer Homecoming Celebration. The event is from 6:30 to 11 p.m. Saturday in the West Plains Civic Center exhibit hall, and everyone age 21 and older is invited. The event includes dinner and entertainment. To date, the foundation has awarded over $110,000 in mini grants for teachers funded by ticket proceeds. Last year, the foundation awarded over $15,000 in mini grants to over 50 teachers.
