Willow Springs High School student Luca Woodard,18, competes in the screen printing competition at ScreenShots in West Plains, 1616 Freedom Drive, during the South Central District SkillsUSA skills competitions held Friday in West Plains. Students from nine different career centers in the region competed to see who will represent south central Missouri in April’s state competition. Students worked in categories such as advertising design, auto mechanics, auto body repair, carpentry, healthcare, information technology, welding and screen printing. According to SkillsUSA Lead Advisor Scott Heidy, students will also compete in a leadership competition in Lebanon on Feb. 18.
