Medical marijuana

A town hall-style meeting to discuss the three medical marijuana issues being posed to voters in November will be held at 6 p.m. Monday in the University of Missouri Extension conference room, 1376 Bill Virdon Blvd. In West Plains.

Organizers invite the public to attend the meeting to learn about current laws regarding marijuana and what reform could mean. A comparison between the proposed Amendments 2 and 3 and Proposition C will be given.

Presenters will also share their experiences with conditions said to be treatable with medical marijuana, and a question-and-answer discussion period will be held regarding the three proposals on the Nov. 6 ballot.

For more information follow the “Medical Marijuana Discussion” event page on Facebook. The event is hosted by Springfield NORML (National Organization for the Reformation of Marijuana Laws) and Patients Against Bradshaw Amendment 3.
