Lifetime Achievement: Dr. Gilbert Jordan

LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT — Dr. Gilbert Jordan of Willow Springs was recently presented the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. Jordan was given the award in recognition for his many years of professional experience in the fields of science, physics and engineering. Jordan has a Doctorate in Physics from Camden University, a Masters in Engineering from University of Utah and a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University. Professionally, Jordan designed subsystems for Apollo program, the Titan Manned Orbital Laboratory and other subsystems related to the defense industry. He also served six years in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
