Jimmy Dale “JB” Bell passed away on June 9, 2019, at the age of 69. He was born July 8, 1949, in West Plains, Mo., the son of James R. Bell and Wilma (Myers) Bell.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his companion Joann Smith of West Plains; son, Jon Bell; four grandchildren, Tyler Bell, Emily Bell, Wendie Suggs and Whitney Norton; and two sisters, Judy McWilliams (Scott) of West Plains and Becky Crider (Steve) of Pomona.
JB served for 30 years as Transportation Director of Fairview School District. He was a lifelong auto mechanic and had a passion for collecting John Deere tractors.
Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 13, 2019, at Dripping Springs Cemetery, West Plains, Missouri. Interment will be in Dripping Springs Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
