A DUSTING OF SNOW

The Ozarks received some of its first snow of the year Monday, a small system bringing cold temperatures plummeting to 18 degrees just before midnight, according to the National Weather Service. Winter weather is forecast for Wednesday night through Thursday night as another cold front moves through the area. The NWS forecast calls for 100% chance of precipitation including sleet, snow and freezing rain overnight into Thursday, and a 90% chance of wintry mix Thursday during the day. However, things look brighter for the weekend as milder temperatures are forecast for the area with sunshine returning and daytime highs in the 40s by Friday.
