WEST PLAINS BANK DONATION

WEST PLAINS BANK and Trust Company has donated $500 to the West Plains Rotary Club's annual fundraiser, Taste of Missouri: Covid Edition Outdoor Adventure. This year's fundraiser is a giveaway that includes $500 cash and a prize package including many items associated with outdoor activities. The winner's name will be drawn at noon Nov. 10. Typically held as a food-and-drink showcase of Show-Me State flavors, Taste of Missouri is a fundraiser to support Rotary’s community programs including its Backpack Program to help ensure area students don’t go hungry outside of school. An alternative fundraiser was designed this year out of consideration for health and safety guidelines to slow the spread of COVID-19. Tickets for the prize package are $5 each or $25 for six, and may be purchased from any Rotarian or at the West Plains Daily Quill, Community First Banking Company or Wood & Huston Bank.
