Following a meeting of the Texas County Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees on Feb. 6, Stace Holland, who served as CEO of the hospital starting in November 2022, is no longer employed at TCMH, officials announce. Holland took on the role upon the retirement of longtime CEO Wes Murray.

Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston has received a $750,000 grant from the Delta Regional Authority (DRA), board members heard at their most recent monthly meeting. The grant will be administered over three years to provide healthcare consulting services for the hospital’s financial and operational performance.

On Thursday, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs announced the availability of $52.5 million in grants to community-based organizations that provide or coordinate suicide prevention services for veterans and their families — including conducting veteran mental health screenings, providing case management and peer support services, delivering emergency clinical services and reaching out to veterans at risk of suicide.
