OVER 500 PEOPLE attended the seventh annual Taste of Missouri in the West Plains Civic Center, according to official estimates. About 30 food and drink vendors, like Greenhouse Ciders here, were present to showcase what they had to offer. Lacy Walker, foreground right, waits to taste a glass of hard apple cider poured by Adrienne Sherman, foreground left, while Adrienne’s husband Josh, next to her, chats with another patron. Taste of Missouri is hosted by the Rotary Club of West Plains.“We would like to thank all vendors, sponsors, silent auction donators and everyone who attended,” said Rotarian Heather Fisher. “The money raised will go back to help the community, including the Rotary’s Backpack Program.” Watch the Quill this week for more about the event.
