West Plains residents Robert and Stephanie Ball have decorated their home for Halloween at 2503 McFarland Lane at the corner of Deatherage Avenue. The work took about a day and includes a large inflatable spider and ghost, graveyard, lighted Jack-o-lanterns and projectors. The family has also gone all out in decorating for Christmas in years past, which takes about a week to accomplish and usually goes up as soon as the Halloween decorations come down, Stephanie Ball said. She added their house has been a popular stop for trick-or-treaters and they plan on handing out candy beginning at 5 p.m. Halloween.
