THE WEST PLAINS LADY ZIZZER basketball team, along with Zizzer cheerleaders and the Kickapoo Lady Chiefs, take a moment of silence at Monday night’s 10th annual Pink Out game to honor those who have lost their battle with cancer. The proceeds from the annual charity event go to the Ozarks Medical Center Cancer Treatment Center. This year’s goal was $15,000. “It will take a few days to get everything totaled, but I can already say that we have safely beaten last year’s total,” said WPHS Head Coach Scott Womack. Womack expressed “a huge thanks” to all the sponsors, especially West Plains Bank & Trust Co and the Shaun Duggins Group at ReeceNichols Real Estate. “We couldn’t have nearly the impact without them,“ Womack said. Full game highlights and more pictures can be found on Page 10 of Wednesday's Quill.
