West Plains agents with State Farm have joined forces in support of Women With Heart and the group’s charity luncheon set to begin at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 8. The meal will be served in the South Campus of the First Baptist Church in West Plains, with a program to follow featuring Ozarks Medical Center cardiologist Dr. Biplab Saha. “The State Farm agents are generous supporters of other charity organizations in our region,” said Carol Silvey, speaking on behalf of Women With Heart. “We are pleased that they assist us this year in purchasing language translators for the various cardiology departments.” In the past, the event has sponsored stress test machines, exercise materials, printed materials for the stroke program and other equipment needed for cardiology patients at OMC. Bronze level sponsorships include advertising at the event and two complimentary tickets. For more information about the event, call 853-5200 or a contact a member of the Women With Heart Committee.
