Primary voting

Dave Mayers of West Plains, foreground, fills out a ballot Tuesday morning at Junction Hill School. Just before 9 a.m., two hours after polls opened, about 70 primary ballots had been cast at that precinct. Voters had a choice of different political party ballots, ranging from Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Constitution, Green or nonpartisan. On all of the ballots, voters were asked to decide on Amendment 2 which sought to allow Medicaid expansion in the state. Watch Thursday’s Quill for a breakdown of election results.
