West Plains Bank supports the Women With Heart event and cause again this year, marking a decade of giving, said fundraiser organizers. “We consider them to be our really good friends,” said Nancy Franz, Women With Heart chair. The annual event will be held at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 8 at the South Campus of the First Baptist Church in West Plains. Sparkling cider will be served beginning at 11:30 with lunch and the program to follow featuring Dr. Biplab Saha. Proceeds this year will be used for a translation machine to be used by cardiology patients.  In the past, the event has sponsored stress test machines, exercise materials,  printed materials for the stroke program, and other equipment needed for cardiology patients at OMC. The bank is giving at the Bronze level, which includes advertising at the event and two complimentary tickets. For information on how to become a sponsor, call 853-5200 and talk to Carol.
