Missouri State University-West Plains Chancellor Dr. Shirley Lawler spoke Thursday in the West Plains Civic Center Magnolia Room during the Greater West Plains Chamber of Commerce Luncheon. Lawler talked about the Fast Track financial aid program, Greater Ozarks Center for Advanced Technology, a $300,000 nursing program expansion and the continued collaboration between the West Plains campus and the Springfield campus. The luncheon was sponsored by Central Trust Bank and catered by Colton’s Steakhouse. The chamber will hold its next luncheon at noon Dec. 5 in the Magnolia Room in the civic center.
