A memorial service will be held at a later date for Robert William Brown, Jr., 63, West Plains.
Mr. Brown passed away at 1:45 a.m., Monday, April 9, 2018, at NHC Healthcare.
He was born Nov. 28, 1954, at San Francisco, Calif., to Robert William Brown and Lillie Marie Berg Brown.
Mr. Brown was a veteran, having served with the United States Army; he was a member of Disabled American Veterans.
He loved his family and enjoyed his grandchildren very much. He enjoyed fishing and coin collecting and adored football and baseball. He attended His Place Church where he loved singing in the choir.
He is survived by two children, Kimberly Brown, West Plains, and Robert William Brown, III, Costa Mesa, Calif.; two stepsons, Jeremy Barrett and Chris Barrett and wife, Kim; two granddaughters, Emily Allen and Lilly Brown; five stepgrandchildren, Cherre McVey, Laura, Kristen, Kala and Madison Barrett; and his former wife, Diane Brown.
His parents preceded him in death.
