Robert “Bobby” Ray Todd was born Leap Day, Feb. 29, 1972, at Independence, the son of the late Leon and Eva Lois (Deatherage) Todd. He took flight from this earth, March 27, 2018, in Springfield, at the age of 46 years, 27 days.

Bobby married his soul mate, April Dawn Kinder, Oct. 9, 1999, at the home of Keith and Marilyn Tharp in Birch Tree. Bobby started working at Howell Oregon Electric Cooperative as a high school senior, working there 28 years. He was a member of the Viola Church of Christ.

Bobby was passionate about many things. He loved bow hunting, target practice, hunting, RC racing, shooting skeet and clay pigeons, loading shells and helping people.

His greatest passion was his family, especially his daughter, nieces and nephews. He was especially proud of each of them for their special abilities and the kindness they showed to others.

He leaves to mourn his passing: wife, April Dawn; daughter, Isabella Grace Elaine of Viola, Ark.; mother, Eva Todd of Moody; brother, Baty Todd and wife Alisha of Springfield; parents, Dennis and Debbie Kinder of Viola, Ark.; sister, Tara Williams and husband Matthew “Odie” of Viola, Ark.; brother, Daniel Kinder and wife Heather of West Plains; his special nieces and nephews, Brady Aaron Wayne Ramsey, Braidlyn Elaine Kay Fierce, Anatasia Chloe Todd, Anthony James Kinder, Braden Virgil Wayne Williams, Kayleigh Elaine Mae Kinder and Makenzie Carol Renee Kinder; many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends, Anna and David Humphries of Salem, Ark.

He is preceded in death by his father Leon Todd, grandmother Pauline (McElmurry) Todd, grandfather Robert Todd, grandmother Vada (Hoggatt) Deatherage, grandfather Ray Deatherage, great uncle Gene Todd, uncle Lawrence Deatherage, uncle Kenny Deatherage, aunt Cathy Deatherage, aunt Cathy Deatherage, grandmother Clessie Mae Kinder, grandfather Horace Huett, grandmother Helen Huett and infant nephew Jordan Wayne Kinder.

Bobby was a gentle giant and always had a smile for everyone. He would give the shirt off his back to help another. He loved spending time with April, watching Bella and his nephews and nieces playing sports. He loved many and gave love freely and at the end lovingly donated sight to another.
