Eddie Joe Johnson Jr., 45, Alton, Mo., was born June 2, 1969, and passed away Oct. 20, 2014.
Survivors include his wife, Venita; three children, Victoria, Misty and Jordan; his father, Eddie J. Johnson Sr,; numerous other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death are his mother, Linda Johnson; one brother, Randy Johnson; and one sister, Lovella.
Eddie was fire chief of the Alton Fire Department, was a police officer for the city of Alton and was a reserve officer with the Oregon County Sheriff’s Department.
Services will be 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, at the Alton High School with Bro. Joby Steele officiating. Interment will follow in the Cave Springs Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family and left at the Alton Bank or Clary Funeral Home.
