A boil order imposed by officials with the Howell-Oregon Public Water Supply District No. 2 has been lifted.

The order affected the Brandsville system west of Jefferson Street due to repair of a leak requiring water to be shut off.

Such repairs result in the need to boil water until after samples have been tested by the Department of Natural Resources. The boil order did not include patrons in the area southwest of West Plains or the Junction Hill system, officials said.
