The 2019 Cardinals Caravan, which ran Friday through Monday, saw members of the St. Louis Cardinals traveling around the Show Me State, Tennessee, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana and Arkansas participating in question-and-answer sessions, signing autographs and visiting with patients at hospitals.

The Caravan that stopped Friday in Springfield included current Cardinals Jack Flaherty, Yairo Munoz, Dominic Leone and Max Schrock; team mascot Fredbird; former Cardinals Kyle McClellan and Randy Flores; and announcers Mike Claiborne and Polo Asencio.

The Springfield caravan’s first stop was at Hammond Field, home of double-A affiliate Springfield Cardinals, where the Cardinals answered fan questions for over an hour before signing autographs for all the kids in attendance.

The caravan then visited Springfield hospitals before making an appearance  at the Tournament of Champions high school basketball tournament at JQH Arena.

The group of Cardinals then made stops in Rolla and Joplin Saturday.
