The Missouri Department of Transportation will soon begin work on U.S. 60 for erosion control.
Beginning at 6 a.m. July 10, contractor crews will begin what is expected to be a roughly three-week project on eastbound U.S. 60 between AM Highway and Highway 76 near Willow Springs. Weather permitting, work will be done from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily until July 28.
The route will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction. Signs will be placed to mark the work zone and drivers should use extreme caution while traveling nearby.
