Howell County Commissioners will meet in regular session at 10 a.m. Thursday in the conference room on the second floor of the county office building, 35 Court Square in West Plains.
On the agenda at 10:30 a.m., commissioners are expected to sign a grievance procedure and discuss Section 3 Housing for a Community Development Block Grant. Section 3 is a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development program that offers training and employment opportunities for low-income residents and businesses within communities that receive HUD funding for housing and community development.
Commissioners are also expected to award a contract to Cahills Construction and Christos House.
Other items on the agenda include the approval of accounts payable and March tax assessment adjustments.
Guests present will be recognized. The commission typically meets twice weekly, on Mondays and Thursdays, and the public is welcome.
