Mayme “Deloris’’ Wade

Mayme “Deloris” (Owens) Wade was born September 20, 1942, the third child of William L. and Mayme Belle (Holden) Owens, on the family farm near Mountain View, Mo. She departed to go home to her Heavenly Father on September 23, 2015, at the age of 73 years and 3 days, at her home surrounded by her family.

In 1964 she married Paul Joseph Wade and to this union four children were born; David, Keith, Kelly and DJ. Deloris stayed home with the children for several years and then went to work at The Bank of Mountain View, eventually known as Landmark Bank, in 1973 and retired in January of 2008.

Deloris is survived by her husband, Paul; children, David and Becky of West Plains, Keith and Debbie of Mtn. View, Kelly of Mtn. View and DJ and Angela of West Plains; seven grandchildren, DaVay and Corey Rutledge, Darah Wade, Koby Wade, Brittany Wade, Dylan Wade, Ethan Wade, and Brittany Elliott and one great-grandson, Riddick Rutledge. She is also survived by her brother, Edmond and Bonnie Owens of Mtn. View, two sisters, Doris Jane Sparks of Villa Ridge, Mo., and Thelma Hill of Warsaw, Mo., a brother-in-law, Wayne and Dorothy Wade of Napavine, Wash, a sister-in-law, Lena and Buddy Vines of Mtn. View. She is survived by only one of her uncles, Darrell Holden of Mtn. View and a host of nieces and nephews. Deloris loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister and friend and spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Chapel Hill Baptist Church, Mountain View, with Bro. Lawrence Nevils and Bro. Les Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View. Memorials may be made to Chapel Hill Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com
