Beginning Aug. 14, contractor crews will be working to make repairs to slopes on U.S. 63 from Willow Springs to Lanton Road in West Plains in a project anticipated to last until the end of September, Missouri Department of Transportation officials announce.
To do the work, the crews will impose a 12-foot width restriction on the road, but the impact to traffic is expected to be minimal, said officials. Drivers should anticipate short lane drops and shoulder closures.
Weather permitting, the work will be underway from Aug. 14 through Sept. 29, including weekends as needed.
