Northbound U.S. 63 in West Plains will be reduced to one lane overnight June 1 while Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace an overhead traffic signal pole.
The reduction will be between Preacher Roe Boulevard/U.S. 160 and K Highway, and work is expected to take place from 8 p.m. June 1 to 6 a.m. June 2, weather permitting.
Beginning late this month, Highway 19 in Oregon and Shannon counties will also have a lane reduction in place while contractor crews treat pavement to preserve it.
From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 28 through June 12, the lane restriction will be in place with a 12-foot width restriction from U.S. 60 in Winona to U.S. 160 in Alton.
Flaggers and a pilot car will be in place to guide traffic. Both work zones will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
