Nine injuries reported in recent crashes

A Dora man suffered serious injuries in a crash at 1:46 p.m. Monday on U.S. 160, 2 miles east of West Plains, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Cpl. J.C. Howell with Troop G of the patrol, Willow Springs, reported Sean M. Crase, 34, was eastbound in a 2004 Chevrolet 1500 when his vehicle traveled off the road, struck an embankment, traveled across private property and.struck a utility trailer, parked car and a residence.
The report shows Crase, who was not wearing a seat belt, was transported by aircraft to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.
Cpl. Howell was assisted at the scene by Msgt. R.T. Rees, Msgt. S.L. Nelson, Cpl. M.T. Weakley and Tpr. A.K. Falterman.
Moderate injuries were reported for a Cabool man after a motorcycle crash at 3 p.m. Monday on U.S. 63, just south of West Plains.
Cpl. M.T. Weakley reported Nathaniel J. Van Hooser, 19, of West Plains was southbound in a 1993 Dodge 3500 which was pulling a trailer when his vehicle and trailer traveled into the path of a northbound 2007 Yamaha XVS1100, causing the motorcycle to crash into the trailer.
The Yamaha was driven by David R. Guidash, 48.
The report shows Guidash, who was not wearing a helmet, was transported by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains.
No injuries were reported for Van Hooser.
Cpl. Weakley was assisted by Msgt. S.L. Nelson and Tpr. A.K. Falterman.
Moderate injuries were reported for a West Plains man after a two-vehicle crash at 7:15 a.m. Monday on Highway 17, 5 miles south of West Plains.
Msgt. R.T. Rees reported Thomas A. Degumbia, 24, was westbound in a 2004 Subaru when his vehicle pulled into the path of a southbound Honda SUV.
The Honda was driven by Sarrah J. Latta, 28, of West Plains.
The report shows Degumbia, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by South Howell County Ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare.
No injuries were reported for Latta.
Injuries were reported for three area residents, including a seven-year-old girl after a crash at 9 p.m. Friday on U.S. 160, 6 miles west of Alton.
Tpr. L. C. Pruiett reported driver Blanche V. Reese, 73, of Birch Tree and passengers Kenneth R. Reese, 75, of Birch Tree and the seven-year-old, of West Plains, were westbound in a 2006 Ford Freestyle when the vehicle ran off the road, overcorrected, ran off the left side of the road and overturned. The girl was not wearing a seat belt, according to the patrol.
The report shows the girl suffered moderate injuries and was flown by Air Evac to Ozark Healthcare.

Minor injuries were reported for Blanche Reese and she was transported by Oregon County EMS to Ozarks Healthcare.
Kenneth Reese received no treatment at the scene.

The patrol does not release the names of those who are younger than 18 years of age.
Minor injuries were reported for a Mtn. Grove teenager after a crash at 3:50 p.m. Sunday on AM Highway, 2 miles east of Mtn. Grove.
Tpr. R.D. Crewse reported an eastbound 2005 Ford Explorer, driven by a 16-year-old girl from Hartville with a passenger, a 15-year-old girl from Mtn. Grove, ran off the right side of the road and impacted a fence and a utility pole. Both girls were wearing seat belts, according to the patrol.
The 15-year-old was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston.
No injuries were reported for the 16-year-old, and the patrol does not release the names of those who are younger than 18 years of age.
Minor injuries were reported for an Arkansas man after a two-vehicle crash at 8:55 a.m. Saturday on U.S. 160 at South Fork.
Cpl. J.D. Wheeler reported John J. Downing, 31, of Elizabeth, Ark., was eastbound in a 2005 Dodge 2500 pickup when his vehicle attempted to make a left turn and pulled into the path of a westbound 2020 Chevrolet 1500 pickup. Both men were wearing seat belts, according to the patrol.
The Chevrolet was driven by Chance C. Davis, 23, of West Plains.
The report shows Downing was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare.
No injuries were reported for Davis.
Minor injuries were reported for a Willow Springs woman after a two-vehicle crash at 12:32 p.m. Friday on U.S. 63 and N Highway in Pomona.
Cpl. J.D. Wheeler reported Dorothy M. Seay, 46, of Willow Springs, was in a 2002 Honda Accord when her vehicle attempted a left hand turn and pulled into the path of a southbound 1995 Freightliner driven by Adam S. Foster, 24, of West Plains.
The report shows Seay was transported by South Howell County Ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains.
No injuries were reported for Foster.
