In just their first season as an NFL team, the Giants were already riding a wave of optimism after a string of wins. But all of that came crashing down at the Cycledrome in Providence, Rhode Island, as they suffered their first-ever loss in the NFL. The final score: 14-0, Providence Steam Roller.
