Officials with the Ozarks Healthcare Foundation announce a giveaway drawing to benefit Ozarks Healthcare’s Cancer Treatment Center Patient Emergency Fund.
Tickets to the drawing will be sold at the 62nd annual Hootin’ an’ Hollarin’ Festival in Gainesville, Thursday through Saturday. Attendees and festivalgoers have the opportunity to win a brand-new, four-wheel-drive Segway Powersport side-by-side.
The highlight of the giveaway is not just the chance to take home an incredible all-terrain vehicle but “also the incredible fund it supports,” say foundation officials. All proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to Ozarks Healthcare's Cancer Treatment Center Patient Emergency Fund.
The fund plays a vital role in providing immediate assistance and support to cancer patients facing unforeseen financial challenges during their treatment journey, officials remind.
"Cancer patients and their families often confront unexpected financial hardships while undergoing treatment, which can add to the emotional and physical stress of the disease," says Josh Reeves, Vice president of Development at Ozarks Healthcare. "Our Cancer Treatment Center Patient Emergency Fund is a lifeline for these individuals, ensuring they receive the care and support they need during their most challenging moments."
The drawing for the Segway Powersport will be held on the last day of the Hootin’ and Hollarin’ Festival, Saturday. Tickets are available now and can be purchased online in advance at www.ozarkshealthcare.com/support-us/foundation or the @ozarkshealthcarefoundation on Facebook to purchase tickets. Tickets are also being sold at the Ozarks Healthcare Foundation’s hospital gift shop on Ozarks Healthcare’s main campus and office in West Plains, Ozarks Healthcare’s clinic and pharmacy in Gainesville, and Pointer, Blackburn & Brown in Gainesville. It is not necessary to be present to win.
