Ozarks Healthcare and the West Plains Optimist Club invite area families to hop into spring with a free community Easter Egg Hunt from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at the Heart of the Ozarks Fairgrounds on North U.S. 63 in West Plains.
Originally planned for an earlier date, the event has been rescheduled due to rain – but the fun is still on the way, said organizers.
The event will feature thousands of Easter eggs for children to hunt, free hot dogs, festive games and plenty of springtime fun for all ages, organizers said, adding children will be grouped into age-specific areas to ensure a safe and exciting egg hunt experience. The Easter Bunny will also be making a special appearance for photos and smiles.
“This event is a fun way for families to enjoy time together, and we’re excited to once again partner with the West Plains Optimist Club to make it happen,” said Melody Hubbell, Ozarks Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations Director. “We look forward to celebrating the season with our community.”
No registration is required, and all are welcome to attend.
