Friday night was opening night of the annual Avenue Theatre summer musical. This year, director Jordan Hall brings Dreamworks’ “Prince of Egypt” to downtown West Plains."The level of work from our cast and crew to give you this elevated theatrical experience is something that you would regret missing," said Hall, inviting the public to attend.The production continues at 7 p.m. tonight, with additional performances at the same time on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and June 28 at 7 p.m. Matinee shows will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday and June 29. All performances take place at The Avenue Theatre, 307 Washington Ave. Tickets are available online at theavenuetheatre.org and are priced at $12 for general admission, and $10 for children 12 and younger and seniors 60 and older.
