Ramona Heiney-State Farm Insurance will celebrate 10 years in business on May 30, and invites the community to come help celebrate. Festivities start at 9 a.m., with a Greater West Plains Area Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting at the office, 1024 Porter Wagoner Blvd. in West Plains. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. the business will partner with the Chick-Fil-A food truck to host an event at Tractor Supply, 1564 U.S. 160 in West Plains. Customers and non-customers are invited. To kick off the celebration, the first 100 sandwiches will be free, with a limit of one per customer. There will also be giveaways and a photo op in State Farm’s giant inflatable chair. “But what makes this event even more special is our commitment to giving back to the community,” said Heiney. “We're proud to announce a $500 donation to the Rotary Backpack Program, and we'll match up to another $500 in community donations.” Donations will be accepted at the event.
