“The Quilters” is the title of a documentary recently aired on PBS and Netflix. We, “the Quilters,” are writing this now from South Central Correctional Center in Licking, Texas County, as a tribute to Gammill in West Plains, to express our appreciation for their donation of the long arm machine that makes our work possible.
In 2021, Gammill donated a Vision 2 quilting machine to the restorative justice organization at South Central Correctional Center. Over the past four years we have produced several hundreds of quilts of all sizes, which have been given to boys and girls in foster care, in addition to hundreds more for church benefits and various charity functions. None of that would have been possible without the Vision 2 that Gammill donated, and which continues to work flawlessly like the well-oiled machine that it is.
Thanks to you all, the public, for allowing us to give something back, and for your donations to the restorative justice program.
