To the editor:
Hello, I opened up the July 20 Gazette and started to read the items. I could not believe my eyes when I saw what had been written by the publisher, Chris Herbolsheimer.
Someone else was as tired as I was of all the political statements that made no sense to me. TV commercials are full of half-truths, misstatements and untruths. When someone looks at the statements and pictures in those ads, there is not a lot of truth in any of them, and I agree that the purpose of the ads is to tear down the opponent, not state the facts.
The beliefs of the person running for the office and what they hope to accomplish if elected should be clearly stated, not waste all that money on political un-facts, if there is such a word. Not voting for anyone wasting all those donations like that.
The publisher was right on the money with his comments. Hope to see more editorials with statements of facts, not that junk.
