The Salvation Army is once again seeking volunteers to serve as bell ringers to collect donations for the annual Red Kettle drive from Friday through Dec. 24.
This year, volunteers will ring bells at the entrances of Walmart and Ramey supermarket in West Plains.
Donations collected help fund programs that provide essential services for those in need in the local community, said organizers.
Individuals and organizations interested in ringing are invited to contact Kay Mead at Ozark Action by emailing kmead@oaiwp.org, or by calling Ozark Action during office hours Mondays through Thursdays at 417-256-6147.
Those unable to volunteer or who would like another way to contribute may donate online at centralusa.salvationarmy.org. Donations stay local to the zip code provided by the donor. Monetary donations can also be mailed or dropped off at Ozark Action, 710 E. Main St., West Plains, MO 65775. Checks should be made payable to The Salvation Army.
