ARRESTS

Frank Lee Roberts, 58, was arrested May 17 on charges of delivery of a controlled substance and released with $25,000 bail. Officer Aaron Galiher.

Kevin James Vallerand, 50, was arrested May 18 on warrants for failure to appear and ticketed on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released with $1,500 bail. Officer Tatum Whitsell.

Alexander Dean Harris, 28, was arrested May 19 on charges of first-degree assault, armed criminal action, and third-degree assault, held with $50,000 bail, and released with a reduced bond of $25,000. Howell County Sheriff.

Alexzandria Dawn Wenger, 19, was arrested May 19 on a warrant for failure to appear and is being held with $800 bail. Sgt. Kyle Parrish.

James Dawayne Detwiler, 44, was arrested May 19 on warrants for failure to appear and was released with $700 bail. Howell County Sheriff.

Sylvia Owens, 37, was arrested May 21 on a warrant for failure to appear and was released with $155 bail. Howell County Sheriff.

Samantha J. Wheeler, 28 was arrested May 22 on a warrant for failure to appear and is being held with $229.50 bail. Howell County Sheriff.

Midori Lynne Hall, 55, was arrested May 22 on a warrant for failure to appear and released with $55 bail. Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Brandon Scott Kuhlman, 30, was arrested May 22 on warrants for failure to appear, ticketed on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, and released with $3,675 bail. Cpl. Brandon Stephens.

Desaray Renee Collins, 28, was arrested May 22 on a charge of first-degree burglary and is being held with $5,000 bail. Officer Colter Reid.

Charles E. Myers, 44, was arrested May 22 on a charge of second-degree domestic assault and released with $5,000 bail. Howell County Sheriff.

Brandon Eugene Collins, 47, was arrested May 23 on warrants for failure to appear and released with $2,000 bail. Officer Joel Lovelace.

Michael J. Lewis Jr., 44, was arrested May 23 on a warrant for failure to appear and released with $800 bail.

INCIDENTS

Cpl. Ivie Powell reported at 7:46 a.m. May 17 to a location on East Main Street in reference to stolen license plates. The victim stated the plates has been purchased May 12 and were taken sometime after 5 p.m. the next day and before 6:30 a.m. that morning. The incident remains under investigation.

A man reported at 8:07 a.m. May 17 he had given a ride to a man he didn't know, and the passenger left a baggie of controlled substance and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle. The items were seized for destruction. Officer John Murrell.

At 9:19 a.m. May 17 Officer Murrell was dispatched to Hardee's on Porter Wagoner Boulevard in reference to a driver that crashed their vehicle into a pole, and was possibly intoxicated. It was determined the driver was intoxicated, placed under arrest, and later released with a summons.

A man reported at 9:57 a.m. May 17 a firearm had been stolen from his vehicle between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on April 28 when the vehicle was parked on Porter Wagoner Boulevard. The incident remains under investigation. Cpl. Powell.

At 10:33 a.m. May 17 a man reported in June of 2020 someone had fraudulently forged a check belonging to him. The case is under investigation. Officer Murrell.

A man reported at 2:24 p.m. May 17 his wife had forged his name on legal documents without his permission. The incident remains under investigation. Cpl. Powell.

At: 3:15 p.m. May 17 Officer Lovelace responded to Party Pantry in reference to a domestic disturbance. It was determined the incident was verbal only and a report was taken for documentation purposes.

Officer Galiher reported at 3:37 p.m. May 17 he conducted a traffic stop on Dixon Street, and as a result charges for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute are being sought against the driver.

Officer Lovelace responded at 9:21 p.m. May 17 to Garrett Street to a report of a single vehicle accident. It was determined the driver was under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested and ticketed on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

At 11:54 p.m. May 17 officers were dispatched to the community garden off of West Olden Street in reference to suspicious people. One subject was located that had active warrants and was arrested. Officer Tatum Whitsell.

At 1:46 a.m. May 18 Officer Reid conducted a traffic stop on Preacher Roe Boulevard, and it was discovered the driver's license had been suspended and they had a Benton County felony warrant. The suspect was taken into custody.

At 7:42 a.m. May 18 property damage to a soda machine at People's Park off of Broadway was reported, with the logo and lights on it broken. The incident remains under investigation. Cpl. Powell.

At 11 a.m. May 18 Officer Murrell responded to a location on Lanton Road in reference to property damage. A woman reported the driver's side door handle on her vehicle had been damaged sometime the night before.

Cpl. Powell was dispatched at 11:18 a.m. May 18 to the People's Park pavilion off of Broadway and reported graffiti had been written on walls and tables. The incident remains under investigation.

It was reported at 11:53 a.m. May 18 property had been stolen. A report was completed, but the incident is not under active investigation. Officer Paul Bradshaw.

At 3:24 p.m. May 18 it was reported money had been stolen from a location on Garrett Street. The victim wanted a report made for documentation purposes and did not wish for an investigation. Officer Brent McKemie.

At 3:27 p.m. May 18 Officer Lovelace responded to a home on Grace Avenue in reference to a vehicle that had been tampered with. Possible suspects have been identified and charges are charges are pending positive identification of a suspect.

At 3:38 p.m. May 18 a report was taken in reference to a sexual assault, and the incident remains under investigation. Cpl. Josh Wichowski.

Officer McKemie responded at 3:52 p.m. May 18 to a business on Worley Drive and took a report of a stolen welder. A suspect was identified and charges are pending.

Officer Whitsell reported she responded at 7:06 p.m. May 18 to Ramey supermarket in reference to found property. It was collected and entered into evidence for safekeeping.

At 8 p.m. May 18 Officer Lovelace responded to Diamond Shamrock gas station on St. Louis Street to investigate counterfeit currency being used for payment. A possible suspect was identified, but the victim declined pursuit of charges. A report was completed for documentation purposes.

Officer Reid responded at 2:14 a.m. May 18 to a home on Chippewa Street in reference to a physical domestic assault without injuries. A probable cause statement has been forwarded to prosecutors.

At 6:54 a.m. May 19 Officer Murrell was dispatched to a home on Lisa Street to investigate a stolen vehicle that had been taken sometime between 12:15 and 6:55 a.m. that morning. At time of report the vehicle hadn't been located and no suspect had been identified.
