WP Chamber, Amazon host networking event for new and established members
The Greater West Plains Chamber of Commerce held its quarterly new-member meet-and-greet Thursday morning at 10/40 Coffee on Court Square, for prospective and established chamber members to chat, network and share ideas. Executive Assistant Jennifer Dryer made a presentation describing membership benefits including insurance, legislative updates that affect businesses, and networking and advertising opportunities. The event was sponsored by Amazon, which provided complimentary coffee and pastries. Upcoming, the chamber will host its August luncheon noon Thursday in the civic center Magnolia Room; a ribbon cutting ceremony 11:30 a.m. Aug. 21 at Butler Children's Park; a member mixer from 4 to 6 p.m. Aug. 17 at Colton's Steakhouse & Grill; and a Nonprofit Alliance meeting 9 a.m. Aug. 30 at Trillium Trust Community Room in East Towne Village, Bill Virdon Boulevard.
