The West Plains Fire Department will participate in the 70th annual Fill the Boot campaign, a nationwide initiative that has raised over $700 million for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) since its inception. This year’s event will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday with local firefighters stationed at three key intersections in West Plains to collect donations.
