The West Plains High School Zizzers track team traveled Monday to compete in the Willow Springs Relays. The track meet may have been in bear country, but it was the Zizzers who dominated the field by bringing home the team titles for both the boys and the girls. The boys captured their title by racking 128.5 points, and the girls tallied a total of 168 points.
“It was a really good showing for many of our young athletes,” said Zizzer Boys Coach Greg Dixon. “Top five medaled in each event and we had several athletes medal.”

The Zizzer varsity girls are back in action today as they travel to Springfield for the Girls Night Out meet hosted by Glendale. The boys will hit the track again Friday for the Hillcrest Invitational in springfield.
