These two pups are siblings at the West Plains Regional Animal Shelter, 1486 BB Highway. Hanna and Hester are about 12 weeks old, according to shelter volunteer Trish Hammen. “We are not sure what they are mixed with; Hanna is the dominant one when it comes to food, but both are very sweet and playful,” she added. The fee to adopt is $50 per dog and includes the cost of spaying. Prospective adopters are invited to drop by the shelter or call 417-256-8438. Hammen noted financial donations are still sought for completion of the inside of the new shelter building, and expressed thanks to all who have donated thus far. more
